About UsSOS was formed in October 2008 following discussions between Croydon TUC, local campaigners, councillors and the anti-academies alliance.
SOS aims to bring together teachers, staff, governors, parents, students, trade unions, councillors and political & campaigning organisations in Croydon, to defend schools threatened with closure and the introduction and creation of academies.
These issues affect us all and it is only through campaigning together that we stand a chance of defending state education in Croydon.
