WHAT PRICE CONSULTATION???

E-mail Print PDF
It is clear that the only way to prevent the closure of Haling Manor, as it is now, the all through experiment for Ashburton and the grubbing around for a sponsor for Selsdon is to give a very loud message to Croydon Council.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families obviously don't rate the opinions of children, schools or families. This has been taken directly from their website on National Challenge/London Challenge:
"Ashburton Community School Academy due to be opened 01/09/09; Haling Manor High School Academy due to be opened 01/09/09; and Selsdon High School Academy due to be opened 01/09/10"

Can Steve Chalke of Oasis really improve results?

Clearly, by his own admission, he isn't so sure - so why is Croydon Council.

How can parents of the 3 Ashburton schools he wishes to amalgamate under one banner have confidence in his plans, given: his failure to deal quickly and efficiently with the problems at Oasis Mayfield in Southampton; his own lack of confidence, as reported in the Independent; and his lack of experience, as defined by John Denham MP?

Listening but not hearing!

E-mail Print PDF
Croydon Council are spending a lot of money on advertising that they are listening to us but so far the evidence is that they do not hear!

Are they hearing the headteachers? Have they heard the teachers? Have they heard Ashburton parents? Have they heard Haling Manor Governors?

They have refused to run a ballot to find out what people really think.

ACT NOW
