Save Our Schools

We wish to be fair to Oasis. You can read their version of events in Southampton and under "careers" can read the job description, etc, for the principal of their proposed academy:

Oasis has a master funding agreement, Harris has one for each academy.  These can be found by Googling "Academies Funding Agreements".

We were told we were mistaken/lying about the control of the Governing Bodies of Academies.  What is frightening is how many answers to Parliamentary Questions about Academies start with "We do not hold information...."  This supports the argument that Academies are unaccountable

Although the %age of FSM has dropped generally across the country, the %age in Academies has dropped much faster.  Given that the argument for Academies is to "improve results", this supports the claim that they do it by changing the intake.  (or do a Hansard search for question 224673).
