Oasis can't guarantee to improve results

E-mail Print PDF
Apparently, Steve Chalke did not say that he can't guarantee to improve results. For quoting the newspaper we unreservedly apologise. However, if he were honest, he would have said it because not only can he not guarantee it, but the Immingham and Wintringham academies show a drop in results.

Conservatives divided on Academies

E-mail Print PDF
The Academy programme was modelled partly on Sweden. It appears that after 20 years, there is considerable debate in Sweden whether it is working. The main beneficiaries are the middle classes, to the detriment of those the scheme was supposed to benefit - those living in deprived areas.
